Juliet and Brice were high school sweethearts, weathering the ups and downs of young adulthood together as the years passed. Their relationship changed forever after a trip to Deep Creek Lake when Brice, having brought together Juliet’s loved ones from across the region, got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.

Two years later, “Love Story” by Taylor Swift played throughout Stonewall Resort’s beautiful Grand Hall. Brice, in a navy suit, ivory dress shirt, and light blue floral tie waited eagerly for his bride in front of the hall’s grand windows and an asymmetrical arch of colorful pastel florals. Juliet was a romantic vision in a sweetheart, off-the shoulder floral lace gown with cathedral train.

The couple exchanged traditional vows to complement the private vows they’d shared during an idyllic first look by the lake. After the “I do’s” were sealed with a kiss, guests made their way to the patio for cocktail hour.

Nearby, a grand white tent was set up near the lake, dressed with lush greenery, colorful centerpieces, and stunning pastel and gold-accented decor. After belly-bursting entrances by the bridal party and a first dance to Cody Fry’s “Photograph,” dinner was served and speeches were given.

Juliet took an emotional moment to honor her mother, dedicating the bridal bouquet to her as a thank you for all her love and support in planning the special day. The dance floor stayed packed well into the night as guests celebrated with the newlyweds, then gathered for s’mores around the resort’s firepit as the night came to a close.

The couple enjoyed a tropical honeymoon at Jamaica’s Sandals Montego Bay before returning home to Morgantown, where Juliet works as an occupational therapist and Brice as an executive assistant at WVU Medicine.
