Pups and Pastels for this Charleston, West Virginia Couple

After 4th of July celebrations, Jordan and Jeremy went back to their home in Charleston where Jordan found the porch lit up with candles and the couple’s dogs, Georgia and Murphy, dressed in bows. With the help of one of Jordan’s best friends, Jeremy pulled off the ultimate surprise engagement. He got down on one knee and asked Jordan to spend the rest of her life with him. Jordan and Jeremy met in July of 2017 in Jeremy’s hometown of Huntington. They first bonded over their love of their dogs, and the rest was history.

The couple planned a summer wedding in Jordan’s hometown of Charleston. The couple exchanged traditional vows during a Catholic ceremony, performed by Jordan’s childhood priest, and friend of both families, Father Leon Alexander. Jordan and Jeremy and their families were deeply saddened by the passing of Father Leon this past March. For the ceremony and reception, Jordan wore a simple gown with lace details and accessorized with her great-grandmother’s double strand pearl necklace and a bracelet made with another great-grandmother’s earrings. The bridesmaids wore petal pink dresses and Jeremy and his groomsmen wore navy blue suits with pink ties. The bouquets and floral arrangements included Jordan’s favorites, roses, peonies and hydrangeas. A reception for immediate family and the wedding party followed the ceremony. Guests dined on filet, chicken, and salmon before the couple cut into a three-tiered vanilla and berry cake, decorated with fresh flowers. Following the wedding, Jeremy and Jordan traveled to Asheville, North Carolina, which is where they went on their first trip together back in 2017. After returning from Asheville, the couple settled into married life in Charleston where Jordan works as an attorney and Jeremy works for Pepsi as a sales capability analyst.
