Walking down the aisle of the candle-lit church—the very one in which her parents and grandparents had wed—Amy Mareske had so many thoughts swirling through her head. She was in awe of the very large crowd that stood before her. She was concerned about the emotional state of her dad as he escorted his only daughter, his princess, to her husband-to-be. Then, there was the fairy-tale decor, each and every gold, sparkling detail just as she had imagined. But when her eyes met those of Jordan Bryant, awaiting his bride at the altar, her mind quickly reset. “I looked up at Jordan and thought, ‘That's my groom, and this is me. This is really us, and we are really getting married,’” Amy says. That wasn’t the only “wow” moment the two had shared throughout their six-year courtship. Both from Fayetteville, the pair have known each other most of their lives. They began texting, and Chelsea joined Thomas's March Madness pool. Later when Chelsea won, they met up to get her winnings, and that's what started it all.

Plans for Semmie and Clay’s West Virginia weddin

Plans for Semmie and Clay’s West Virginia wedding were nearly complete and the big day was quickly approaching when COVID-19 hit. Just weeks out from their wedding, they made the tough decision to postpone. They pushed their nuptials back exactly a year. But to complete their union in spite of the pandemic, the couple decided to go ahead and tie the knot in a non-traditional way.

After a year of quarantines, vaccinations, and a lot of uncertainty, the pair were back in the home stretch for their big West Virginia wedding near Alderson at Fairhill, a stone farmhouse built in 1795 by a very great-grandfather of Clay’s.

Semmie and Clay’s third and final wedding found them jetting off to Seoul for a traditional-style Korean ceremony at the Westin Josun Hotel. Learn more about their three different weddings by checking out our website! Link in bio.

The universe couldn’t have created a more perfect meet-cute for Brian Forehand and Austin Blakeslee. They were both single men in Washington, D.C., they both loved being on the water, and Austin had just joined the rowing team Brian was active with in his free time. The pieces of the first chapter of their story were all there and, after a few weeks, Brian plucked up the courage to ask Austin if he’d like to go out with him. But instead of the answer he hoped for, he got a kind “maybe,” seemingly grinding things to a halt.
