If your wedding is due for a personal touch, you needn’t do it yourself—Devil’s Due Distillery will do it for you.

Just when you thought your special day couldn’t get more special, Devil’s Due Distillery has the thing what you’ve been missing: whiskey. Since this Kearneysville distillery opened in 2021, its services have included custom labeling and whiskey barrels for restaurants, bars, and events—including weddings. The product? Tried-and-true Devil’s Due recipes customized specially for your big day.
If you’re hosting an intimate reception or short on time, consider a custom label. Distillers will bottle your favorite Devil’s Due spirit handcrafted with local ingredients, including specialties like maple whiskey or a classic bourbon whiskey. Then, work with a team of expert graphic designers to select the words, imagery, and background of your highly personalized label. Order one bottle to share with your better half or gift one to every guest—the sky is the limit.
“We have some beautiful heavy-bottom glass bottles to choose from that feel really nice in the hand,” says co-owner Wylie McDade. “Each one is handcrafted, one at a time, then put together in-house. They’ll have gorgeous labels signed by the distiller and a handwritten batch number. There are a lot of nice touches on each bottle.”
Or, upgrade to a wedding whiskey barrel, from five gallons to a whopping 53 gallons—that’s 25 to 300 bottles. Select from available aged bourbons to be barreled a second time, creating a unique double oak bourbon. About six months later, you will receive custom-labeled bottles and the barrel your whiskey was aged in. Elevate the final product with a quality oak finish or a painted barrelhead.
In line with distillery and legal standards, each bottle features the Devil’s Due logo and pertinent information. Due to regulations on shipping liquor, customers must visit the distillery to collect their orders. “When people receive the bottles, they’re typically overwhelmed because they’re so personalized, and it’s always fabulous to receive such a personalized gift,” says McDade. “The bottles are well-photographed if they’re sitting on the tables. They will be a part of the wedding.” Kearneysville, @devilsduedistillery on FB
